Surviving At Home

Many years ago we discovered how much more relaxing our family vacation could be when we rented a spacious, 2-bedroom condo on Lake George. Having two young girls, we were able to put them to bed at their regular bedtimes and we were able to relax on the deck or watch our favorite nighttime shows on television. No more being stuffed into one hotel room and having the kids up until 11pm or having us in bed by 8pm. Renting a condo was the way to go and we’ve done it every year since!

I have since discovered a website, Vacation Rentals by Owner, where you choose where in the world you would like to travel, and they provide you with pictures and details of rental properties available in your desired area. Also, if you have a property you would like to rent, you can pay a yearly fee to be listed on their website.

Since our dream vacation is to go to Hawaii, I will definitely check out their Kauai vacation rentals!
