The Game

A villain game where you lay tiles and become a boss! Fill your board with tiles from dungeons, volcanoes and dense forests. As you build your “map” of tiles, you may get more points or have to transport out of your tile with a portal. Gain the jewels and gain more points.

General play includes:

The Rules and Play

  1. Select a board.
  2. Select a mystery “boss” card that will give you a goal.
  3. Select a group of themed token tiles (forests, volcano, clouds and graveyards etc.) and the bosses to go with them.
  4. Lay out 4 at a time and take turns selecting a tile that has a boss on them.
  5. Strategize which would be best to gain the most points (the more of the same tiles you have the more points)
  6. Add tiles to your board and move pieces as you can with portals and gem tokens until all full.
  7. Add up your points and see who became “the boss!” of your world.

The Fun

This is a witty and clever game that is fun for all ages.

There’s always a different challenge and fun variation.

Select multiple tile types and the next time you play – select a different group of tiles. Mix it up for more adventure and fun!

Colorful and user friendly, this is a great game to play with kids who have short attention spans.

The “rule book” is actually just a 2 page colorful pamphlet that is user friendly and easy to utilize every time you play to add up points at the end.

We play this often because it’s quick and fun (30 minutes at most!) and always delivers a different result.

Now Brotherwise has a “Duel” Overboss game that we would love to try. Let me know if you try it first!
