Interesting and just plain fun!

This game is so fun to play with my mom. We take turns quickly and there are so many options on the board that it’s fun to race to the end. I usually stock pile my money and buy all the buildings.

A sneaky board game of quirks and quests…

  • Build a building, gather a resource, pick a new quest – take back first player!
  • You only have so many turns before the round ends.

Fast paced to complete your quest in Lords of Waterdeep

What adventurer will you be? Good or evil?

Become a shady back-alley dealer or maybe a masked rogue while navigating the multiple options on the board to complete your chosen quests.

In less than a minute, your resource has been taken and now your plans foiled. You must be able to complete your quest! Strategy and timing are key. Pick wisely because you only have one choice each turn to get what you need to finish the quest and beat the odds against you.

In between turns you may find yourself stuck on a “mandatory quest” or getting attacked with an Intrigue card. Gather money, buy buildings, stumble upon a new quest or gather your reward.

This is a great way to teach economics and strategy for your young student.

Little square cubes (adventurers) pile up to get your quest done before the 8 rounds are up.

Winner: Most gold accumulated from completing quests and bonuses from your champion lord.
