If you’re looking for a board game that brings adventure, laughter, and just the right amount of friendly competition to game night, Plunder: A Pirate’s Life is your perfect port of call.
This colorful, action-packed game lets you become daring pirates navigating mysterious seas, upgrading their ships, and racing to collect treasure. With easy-to-learn rules, plenty of surprises, and a modular game board that changes every time you play, Plunder is a treasure trove of fun for kids and grown-ups. I recommend at least age 10 because some of the challenges and attacks can be a little mean. There’s no “cooperative” strategy in this game. It’s all a pirate’s game.
This game is great for your INTJ/ENTJ personality because you can have the mental challenge as well as some sanctioned ruthlessness!
Why We Love It:
This is a fast paced game and we still love it knowing that we may fight or argue while we play it. That’s the fun of it. You may not even realize your opponent is about to take the final point.
This is a great family game that is tactile genius and fast paced. Easy to learn and easy to teach. Colorful resource cards and a guide card that makes it fun and quick to learn.

Replayability: A randomized sea map ensures a new game experience each session. You are always being bombarded with a random “storm” and the ships move around the board so quickly that you never know when your island may be the target!
Balanced Strategy: This game has a mix of risk-taking, tactical movement, and player interaction. When you explore and gather items, you can raid an inhabited island or maybe get stuck in a storm. And it’s tough to know who will win up until the last minute. In this game, points constantly add up and just as you think you have them all, your island is attacked!
Great theme: Rich artwork, pirate lore, and in-game choices keep players immersed in the pirate fantasy.
